West Vincent Elementary has again teamed up with the North Coventry Lion’s Club to offer our 5^th and 6^th grade students the opportunity to help out their school and greater community through the West Vincent Lion Cubs Club.  The advisors for the Lion Cubs this school year will be Mrs. Stacy Hegarty and Mr. Marshall Vogel. 

We meet after school (and an occasional recess)1-2 times a month to plan and participate in   service projects including collecting and organizing donations for our annual Thanksgiving donation to the North Coventry Food Pantry, collecting gently used and unopened toys to deliver to children spending the holidays in the hospital, helping teachers and other staff members in our building, and planting flowers at local retirement homes.  The majority of our project ideas, however, come from our students. 

Interested 5^th and 6^th grade students should plan to attend our next club meeting that will be held on Tuesday, October 23^rd immediately after school. 5^th and 6^th grade students that plan on participating should pick up a permission slip from Mrs. Hegarty or print the permission slip available here on the website. All permission slips must be returned to Mrs. Hegarty by the morning of Tuesday, October 23rd.
