Motion Yoga
for Grades 4-6 on Fridays Starts Jan. 18, 2013 for 4 weeks. 3:10 to 4:00 PM ![]() Provided and paid for by the Wellness Committee Yoga is a perfect compliment to school, sports, and music activities. Each week we will participate in a vibrant yoga practice that creates body awareness and builds a strong sense of self. In these classes students will be challenged with yoga postures but will also learn how to balance challenge by cultivating concentration and calm. Come prepared to learn something new and to have a lot of fun trying your best! Girls on the Run
A fun life-changing after school program for girls in 4th to 6th grades!
Spring program starts March 11- May 29 Contact person at West Vincent is Melissa Lane. MLane@ojrsd.com Girls on the Run® teaches life skills through dynamic, conversation-based lessons and running games. Running is used to inspire and motivate girls, encourage lifelong health and fitness, and build confidence through accomplishment. At each season's conclusion, the girls and their running buddies, complete a 5k running event.
The 10-week program starts during the week of March 11th and ends May 29th. The culminating event of the spring season is the GOTR 5K & STRIDE Challenge on June 1, 2013. Team size is limited and registration is first-come, first-served.
Registration begins February 11th at 7am. Register before March 4th to avoid late fees! On line registration procedures are available on page 70 of the winter brochure or on the website. Please review these before the day of registration. · Non YMCA members - Register at any Freedom Valley Branch.
Non YMCA member - $50 membership fee plus $145 program fee (membership fee valid for 1 year) Fee for Member in schools’ free and reduced lunch program: $70. Fee for Non-Member in schools’ free and reduced lunch program: $75. Proof of qualification required.
