Dear Parents and Guardians,

     Based upon discussion at the October 13, 2008 School Board meeting, the decision has been made to reinstate the elementary Halloween parades. A parade will be held on Friday, October 31st at 1:30 PM at your child’s elementary school. Please note the following points:

• No visitor may wear a costume, or mask.
• Carpooling is strongly suggested due to limited parking availability.
• Visitors will be restricted to designated locations.
• Student costumes may not reflect violence, excessive gore, or “look alike” weapons. For safety reasons, roller blades, boots, “heelies” shoes or costumes that may cause a student to trip or fall are prohibited. Masks are not permitted.
• As in the past there is no rain date. If there is inclement weather the parade will be cancelled and notices will be placed on the school websites.
